Just got my 2008 6-6 back from Carmax needed a few things done like brake rotors power steering etc abd haven't had it a few days (total about 1 1/2 weeks after ownership) now this. Stupid electronic throttle body problems wish I could get a J37 TB cheap I wonder if if would even work on the J35Z3 manifold as it is.....

The j37 TB won't work on the j35 IM without an adaptor. P2R sells an adaptor that will work. The connector is plug n play but the different diameter TB doesn't lineup. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I've had great luck with mine and love it

Do you have a J37 intake manifold too ? Any idea where I could get the throttle body for cheap?

I've had Hondas all my life they are great cars I always loved my 05' 6-6 no real issues and it has 226,000 miles on it. This is just aggravating.

I don't have it yet but I am looking at getting both the TB and IM for next spring. I've been looking at heeltoeauto.com and they have a pretty good deal on the combo or each part individually. Way cheaper than I've been quoted from the local acura dealer.

is that VSA light and the (!) constantly on? and is the BRAKE light on too? if it is check your brake fluid, ive had the same EXACT problem and i was just a little low on brake fluid and those lights came on all the time. poured in a little brake fluid and WALLAH! problem solved

yo can get used throttle body here for about $100 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/171564583663?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT or you can order a new one from park acura - http://www.parkacuraoemparts.com i just got mine for $160 shipped with gasket. you can get manifold here for less than $200 new - http://www.ebay.com/itm/ACURA-17160RYEA ... dc&vxp=mtr
